Geoff Gilpin is a seasoned business executive with over 25 years of senior business leadership experience in a variety of private sector (Fortune 100) companies and the Federal Government. Geoff has held executive positions at a Vice President and Senior Director-level in operations, marketing, and sales for the U.S. General Services Administration, Verizon, Sprint, Ford, MetLife, Touchstone Energy, ValueOptions Health and Wellness, and Sony Pictures.
He is also Founder, President and CEO of PGA, a consulting company. In addition to his role at Premier Group Advisors, Geoff serves as an Advisor to Act One Ventures. The venture fund supports the community of early stage technology, life sciences and medical/tech companies where a founder, executive or investor is primarily a member of the UCLA community.
Geoff has an undergraduate degree from Haverford College in Economics and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA in Corporate Strategy and Marketing. During his career, he has been recognized and quoted in the academic community on strategy and planning issues and is featured in an edition of Management, the world’s best-selling, college-level management textbook, published by Prentice Hall.
Geoff possesses unique expertise in successfully synthesizing marketing, sales and finance issues to deliver superior customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction programs. As an executive manager, he has developed human capital strategies, created and developed high-performing teams, and directly managed over 100 associates and matrix managed over 200 associates. He has managed program budgets of over $400 mm with profit/loss responsibility.
He lives in Winter Park with his wife and family.
