Gaurav Parikh

Gaurav Parikh represents clients in a wide range of government relations, public policy, and commercial business matters at all levels of the federal government. His industry and public policy expertise spans financial services, technology and telecommunications, transportation and infrastructure, retail, budget and appropriations, domestic and international trade, and state government relations. Most recently Gaurav merged this successful government relations firm in to BurgherGray LLP.

Gaurav previously served as the Head of Congressional Affairs at the National Association for Federal Credit Unions and as the Head of State & Local Affairs for the National Restaurant Association, Mr. Parikh, has a comprehensive understanding of the legislative process, which enables him to effectively assist clients in developing strategies for promoting, defeating or providing input on upcoming legislation. He regularly monitors and analyzes federal and state legislative and regulatory processes, leveraging this knowledge to formulate strategies that aid in the enactment of state and federal legislation.

Gaurav got his start in politics working with several consulting firms and served as a chief consultant on several political campaigns and to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Mr. Parikh got his start in Washington, DC launching a startup that provided legislative tracking solutions for lobbyists and law firms.

Mr. Parikh is an active member of the community; currently sitting on the Board of the National Institute of Lobbying and Ethics and is a committee member for the American Society of Association Executives’ APAC and GRAPAC Committees. Mr. Parikh continues to be actively involved with collegiate leadership education and the Sigma Chi Fraternity, where he sits on the operating board for the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop.  He has a B.A. from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is an APAC Board Member of the American Society of Association Executives, GRAPAC Board Member of the American Society of Association Executives, Board Member of the National Institute of Lobbying and Ethics and is a Director of Board Logistics with the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop.
